"I, Ganesh N. Dabhekar, am a Chemical Engineer from Pune University. I completed my P. G. Diploma in Piping Technology in the year 2005. Currently I am working in a Design Consultancy in Muscat. I was a student of Naikwadi Sir during my engineering course. Naikwadi sir is well known personality in the piping field especially in material specification area. As per my experience, when a student completes his piping engg. course & joins a design consultancy with sufficient background of materials & spec. preparation, he can make an excellent start & becomes material specialist after few years of industrial experience. Otherwise it requires several years of service to become an expert in materials.
